  19.     This is essentially the same as the official release on
  20. prep.ai.mit.edt/pub/gnu, but without the source files and with some
  21. additional .ps examples (in samples.zip).  
  22.  
  23.     You must get gs25base.zip and one of the other .zip files,
  24. depending on target machine.  386/486 users should definitely get
  25. gs25_386.zip.  
  26.  
  27.     The 2.4 fonts can be used with 2.5, however the courier,
  28. charter and utopia fonts have been updated and are included in the
  29. posting.  gs25base.zip contains the uglyr font which will
  30. automatically substitude for missing fonts.  Also using using only
  31. the ugly font minimizes the potential for out-of-memory due to using
  32. too many fonts in non-386 versions of the program.

  34.     Type gs -h for help and a list of the supported drivers.
  35.  
  36.     Read use.doc in gs25base.zip for instructions.
  37.  
  38.     Type gs yourfile.ps > foo to redirect errors into file foo to
  39. avoid error messages being printed on screen over the graphics image.
